PT Young Living Indonesia Utilises HSBC’s Ever-Improving Real-Time Payment Processing
Background and Scope
PT Young Living Indonesia is part of the global Young Living Essential Oils network that operates a member-based direct selling business focused on essential oils, wellness products, and lifestyle solutions.
As part of its business operations in Indonesia, PT Young Living Indonesia is responsible for managing commission and incentive payments to eligible members based on sales performance, network development, promotional achievements, and other compensation components defined under the company’s official compensation plan. The payment process requires an efficient, accurate, transparent, and compliant mechanism to ensure members receive their commissions in a timely manner.
The Challenges
One of the key challenges faced by PT Young Living Indonesia in managing commission payments to its members is the need for faster and more efficient payment execution. As the member network and transaction volume continue to grow, conventional payment processes may result in delays, operational inefficiencies, and inconsistent member experiences.
The Transformation
HSBC Indonesia has continuously enhanced its payment infrastructure by improving its real-time payment processing capabilities and strengthening its transaction processing performance.
Through ongoing system development and optimization initiatives, HSBC Indonesia can support faster, more efficient, and more reliable payment execution for corporate clients, including high-volume commission disbursement requirements.
One of the key improvements is the enhancement of the bank’s Transaction Processing Speed (TPS) capacity, which enables the bank to process 1,200 transactions from 1 hour and 9 minutes to just 2 minutes.
The Success
- Faster Payment Execution
- Higher Processing Capacity
- Reduced manual intervention
- Minimised operational bottlenecks
We highly appreciate the continuous enhancements undertaken by HSBC Indonesia in strengthening its real-time payment infrastructure and transaction processing capabilities. The significant improvement in transaction Processing Speed (TPS), combined with enhanced payment system stability and scalability, demonstrates HSBC Indonesia’s strong commitment to supporting high-volume and time-sensitive payment requirements.
This has, of course, given immense benefits to our overall business, management, and people.|
This engagement is a great example of what we can achieve when we align technology improvements with real business needs. Enhancing our processing capacity and real-time capability has enabled PT Young Living Indonesia to accelerate commission payouts dramatically supporting member satisfaction and helping their operations scale with confidence.
