If we were asked what is the thing that help us get through the pandemic, one answer for sure is the digital technology. In supporting the transformation, together with Bank Indonesia, we held an interactive discussion with our clients to gather ideas and challenges on cashless transaction practice in their businesses’ s supply chain.

“The rapid change in the Indonesian people’s behavior towards cashless society has been accelerated by the pandemic. Cashless society is at the core objective of Bank Indonesia who continues to facilitate the transformation process and will bring about benefits such as increased speed of transactions, lower cost in currency management and robust data gathering. According to Fitria, Indonesian QR Code Standard (QRIS) is one out of 23 deliverables included in the Indonesian Payment System Blueprint 2025 (BSPI) and implemented since 2020. She added, “ Bank Indonesia formulated BSPI 2025 which was aimed towards building a healthy ecosystem and serving as a guide for the development of digital economy and finance in Indonesia. With such high public acceptance, we believe QRIS can become a locomotive of the transformation towards a cashless society. It is also a safe payment option during pandemic as it can reduce physical contact.”
